- 1 cup of quinoa
- 2 cups of water
- Pinch of salt
- Optional a splash of extra virgin olive oil
Rinse the quinoa in a drainer (this is very important as it contains chemicals and flavour will be spoiled)
Boil the water add quinoa and reduce heat to medium. Cover it! it will be ready when all water is soaked, about 12 minutes.
- If you like your quinoa more crunchy and less mushy you could make it with one and 1/2 cups of water.
- You can also store it in your fridge for up to 5 days.
This is the best carb! It contains all eight essential amino acids, making it a complete protein. It will fill you up and give you lasting energy.
